  3. CONTROLS
  4. When loaded press 1 for  keyboard  control.  The  keys for play are as
  5. follows.
  6.  
  7. 1 = steer left
  8. 0 = steer right
  9. 8 = decelerate
  10. 9 = accelerate
  11. any key on the bottom row to fire photon bolt.

  13. To select Kempston joystick control press 2 instead of 1.

  15. THE STORY SO FAR
  16. It is  2501,  100  years  after  the  Great  War.  The  North American
  17. continent is ruled by mighty warlords in constant conflict over forest
  18. territory. You are one of  the  elite  mercenaries,  Riders of the Big
  19. Bikes. It's a quick way to get rich  - and an even quicker way to die.
  20. You patrol  your  forest  day  and  night,  chasing  enemy  Riders and
  21. destroying them with your guided  photon  bolts  for $1000 a time. You
  22. may  find  helicopters  and  tanks  too  -  your  masters  reward  you
  23. particularly well if you destroy these.
  24. You can only fire at the other Riders when at top speed and cannot hit
  25. them unless close enough -  your  range  indicator will flash when you
  26. are in range and  your  purse  increases  as  long  as  you are in hot
  27. pursuit.
  28. It is said that the  greatest  reward  is  kept  for the Rider who can
  29. penetrate 8 sectors - you will need  every  ounce of skill to find out
  30. ...............
